Hermes Drive Backup

Private use

Hermes Drive Backup is a private application for the personal use of its owner. It is not a commercial service, is not offered to the public, and does not provide public accounts or registrations.

Authorized purpose

The application may be used only to create, encrypt, store, verify, retain and recover backups belonging to its owner. Google Drive is the required storage provider. Use of Google Drive remains subject to the owner’s agreement with Google.

Owner responsibilities

The owner is responsible for maintaining access to the Google account, protecting OAuth credentials and the private recovery key, monitoring backup results, and periodically testing recovery procedures. A stored backup is not a guarantee that every recovery attempt will succeed.

Availability

The application is provided for the owner’s internal use without a public availability commitment. Operation may be suspended or changed for maintenance, security, provider changes or discontinuation.

Prohibited access

Unauthorized access, probing, interference, credential misuse and attempts to access the owner’s systems or backup data are prohibited.

Privacy

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. The website does not use analytics, tracking or cookies.
